SSC Stenographer 2025 Zone Allocation and Options by CBIC

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has released an official notification regarding the calling of options/preferences from selected candidates for the post of Stenographer Grade-I / Grade-C & D under the Stenographer Grade I & II Examination, 2025.

Candidates who have been recommended by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for appointment as Stenographer Grade-I under CBIC are required to submit their zone/formation preferences through the online module provided by the department.

• Last Date to Submit Preferences: 15-09-2026

How to Submit Zone Preferences

1. Visit the official online preference module link: https://dghrdcbic.gov.in/allocation/userlogin
2. Log in using your SSC registered Roll Number, E-mail ID, and Mobile Number along with the verification code.
3. Enter the OTP received on your registered email/mobile.
4. Check the vacancy positions and jurisdiction mapping via the menu tabs.
5. Select your preferred Cadre Controlling Authorities (CCAs) from the drop-down list.
6. Review carefully and click on the Final Submit button. Download a copy of the submitted form for future reference.

Important Instructions

Note: Options once exercised are final and cannot be changed under any circumstances. If a candidate fails to submit preferences by 15.09.2026, it will be presumed that they have no preference, and the department will allocate zones as per administrative exigencies. For any issues regarding OTP or change of registered mobile/email, candidates must email us-ad3b@gov.in at least three days prior to the last date.
