In a major development for job aspirants, the University of Delhi (DU) has issued an official notification announcing the cancellation of the NTA DU Non-Teaching Recruitment 2021 (Advt. No. Estab.IV/290/2021 dated 23.02.2021). The decision comes following the judgement of the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi dated September 2, 2026, in LPA No. 440/2025 (University of Delhi & Anr. Vs. Deepak & Ors.).

• Exams & Result Quashed: Stage-I examinations conducted by NTA for Senior Assistant, Assistant, and Junior Assistant posts stand quashed, along with the merit/select list declared by NTA.
• Offer Letters Withdrawn: Offer letters issued on 18.08.2023 for the posts of Library Attendant and Laboratory Attendant have been officially withdrawn.
• Fresh Recruitment: A fresh advertisement for these non-teaching vacancies will be issued by the University of Delhi in due course.
