The State Bank of India (SBI) has introduced a significant modification in the SBI PO Mains Examination format. In a major update for banking exam aspirants, SBI has permitted the use of an in-built calculator on the computer screen specifically for the Data Analysis & Interpretation section of the Mains exam.
SBI PO Mains Exam Pattern Overview
The SBI PO Mains examination comprises two main parts: an Objective Test worth 200 marks and a Descriptive Test worth 30 marks. Candidates must qualify both sections according to the bank's selection criteria.
1. SBI PO Mains Objective Test Pattern
The objective examination contains 170 questions totaling 200 marks with a time duration of 3 hours. Each section has a specific time limit and version as outlined below:

The Descriptive Test is conducted immediately following the objective test. It carries 30 marks and lasts for 30 minutes. Candidates are required to answer in English language only.
