In a significant update for banking job aspirants, candidates appearing for the SBI PO Mains Examination can now utilize an in-built calculator on their computer screens during the exam. This facility is specifically permitted for the Data Analysis & Interpretation test section.

The objective test comprises 170 questions carrying a total of 200 marks, with a total duration of 3 hours. Below is the detailed breakdown of the objective test pattern:

SBI PO Mains Descriptive Test Details
Following the objective test, candidates must complete a Descriptive Test of 30 minutes duration for 30 marks. The descriptive test is conducted in English language only.
- Communication Skills: 3 out of 6 questions to be answered (30 Marks total, 30 minutes duration)
- Email Writing: 1 out of 2 options (10 Marks)
- Situation Analysis Writing: 1 out of 2 options (10 Marks)
- Report Writing / Precis Writing: 1 out of 2 options (10 Marks)
