SSC CGL 2026 Tier-1: Exam City & Admission Certificate Details Announced
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released important information regarding the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2026 (Tier-I). Candidates who have applied for this highly sought-after recruitment exam can now view their examination city details and download their admission certificates.
Exam Schedule
The CGL 2026 Tier-I examination is scheduled to be held from 30th September 2026 to 30th October 2026. Candidates are advised to plan their preparations accordingly and ensure they appear for the exam on their allocated dates.
How to View Exam City Details
Candidates of Tier-I of the Combined Graduate Level Examination 2026 can view their examination city details by logging in through the designated login module on the official website of the Commission at https://ssc.gov.in.
Admission Certificate Download
The 'Admission Certificate' for the said examinations will tentatively be available for download prior to two/three (02/03) days of the respective date of examination. The same can be accessed through the designated login module on the website of the commission. Detailed instructions regarding this are available in the Notice published on 21.05.2026 on the website of the Commission.
Own Scribe Facility – Important Updates
Candidates availing the 'Own Scribe' facility in Combined Graduate Level Examination 2026 (Tier-I) may require to do fresh Scribe registration on the Commission's website, as the registration of scribes prior to 05.11.2025 were disposed off.
- Scribe Registration Integration: The Scribe registration has now been integrated with Aadhaar Authentication. Therefore, it is mandatory that all personnel willing to enroll/appear as a scribe shall complete fresh scribe registration on the Commission's website.
- Scribe Age Limit: Candidates who are willing to avail the 'Own Scribe' facility will be required to submit/map their Scribe's registration number for generation of their Scribe's Entry Pass. The maximum permissible age limit of personnel appearing as own Scribe will be as per the updated policy (Policy No. PP001/14/2024-PP (e-10280) dated 04.11.2025).
- Scribe OTR Mapping Deadline: Candidates who have opted for 'own scribe' will be able to map their Scribe OTR till 24.09.2026 (11:00 P.M.) for Combined Graduate level Examination, 2026 (Tier-I). Scribe Entry Pass will be generated only for those candidates who successfully map their Scribe OTR.
