The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued an official notice (Ref: HQ-IT018/4/2024-IT) regarding the Examination City intimation, Admit Card release schedule, and Scribe registration guidelines for the upcoming Combined Hindi Translator Examination, 2026 (Tier-I) and Stenographer Grade 'C' & 'D' Examination, 2026 (Tier-I).

How to Check SSC Exam City Details
Candidates appearing for Tier-I of Combined Hindi Translator or Stenographer Grade 'C' & 'D' 2026 can view their examination city details by logging in to the official Portal:

- Log in using your designated credentials through the candidate login module.
- Check your assigned examination city, date, and shift.
SSC Admit Card Release Date
The Admission Certificate (Admit Card) for the examinations will tentatively be available for download 2 to 3 days prior to the respective examination date. Candidates can download their admit card via the official candidate login module on the SSC website.
Mandatory Guidelines for Candidates Using 'Own Scribe' Facility
The Commission has published important instructions regarding the scribe facility for both examinations:
- Fresh Scribe Registration: Scribe registrations completed prior to 05.11.2025 have been disposed of. All candidates requiring an 'Own Scribe' must perform a fresh scribe registration on the SSC portal.
- Aadhaar Authentication: Scribe registration is now integrated with Aadhaar Authentication. All personnel willing to enroll as a scribe must complete Aadhaar verification.
- Scribe OTR Mapping Deadline:
- Combined Hindi Translator Exam 2026 (Tier-I): Scribe OTR mapping allowed till 06.09.2026 (11:00 P.M.).
- Stenographer Grade 'C' & 'D' Exam 2026 (Tier-I): Scribe OTR mapping allowed till 07.09.2026 (11:00 P.M.).
- Scribe Entry Pass: Scribe Entry Pass will only be generated for candidates who successfully complete the Scribe OTR mapping before the deadline.
