Background of the Corrigendum

That section detailed the non-processing of results for 60 (Sixty) candidates who were under review due to alleged malpractices during the examination process.

Hon’ble CAT Order & Provisional Participation

In recent developments, following the directions issued by the Hon’ble Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), Principal Branch, New Delhi, via an interim order dated 20.08.2026 in O.A. No. 2671/2026 and connected matters, a significant update has been announced:

• Provisional Permission: The 60 candidates whose results were withheld are now provisionally allowed to participate in the Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT).
• Conditional Nature: Such provisional participation remains subject to the final outcome of the ongoing Original Applications (O.A.) before the court.
• Legal Standing: Participation in PE&MT will not confer or vest any indefeasible right of selection or appointment in favour of the applicants.
