As per the latest addendum, the essential qualifications for the Scientific Assistant post (Age limit: Up to 30 years) are now read as follows:

Important Note for Engineering/Computer Science Graduates
The commission has added a critical condition for candidates applying under the second criteria (Engineering or Computer Science degrees). Note 1 specifies: "Candidates possessing the qualification mentioned in (2) above must also have passed Class XII examination from a recognised Board with Physics and Mathematics as one of the subjects."
