SSC Issues Addendum for Stenographer Grade C & D Exam 2026
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a crucial addendum regarding the Stenographer Grade 'C' & 'D' Examination, 2026. This update specifically addresses the technical requirements for the Computer Based Skill Test in Stenography.
Mandatory Use of Mangal Font
In continuation with Para 15 of the original notice published on 24.04.2026, the commission has clarified the font requirement for Hindi typing.
- Requirement: Candidates opting for Hindi as the medium for the Typing/Skill Test are required to type in Mangal Font only.
- Non-Evaluation: Any script typed by a candidate using a font other than Mangal Font will not be evaluated.
- Disqualification: Candidates failing to adhere to this rule will be treated as not qualified in the Typing/Skill Test. Consequently, their candidature will not be considered for any further stages of the recruitment process.
