UP Outsourcing Recruitment 2024: Merit-Based Selection, No Interview for Group C & D, Local Youth Priority

Uttar Pradesh Outsourcing Recruitment New Guidelines 2024
The Uttar Pradesh government has overhauled the recruitment and remuneration system for outsourcing employees in the state. Under the newly implemented Uttar Pradesh Outsourcing Seva Nigam (UPOS) framework, recruitments will no longer involve interviews for Group C and Group D posts, and selections will be conducted purely on a 100-mark merit system.
Key Highlights of UP Outsourcing Recruitment New Policy
- No Interviews: Interviews have been completely abolished for Group C and Group D posts.
- 100-Mark Merit System: Selection will be based on a total of 100 marks distributed across various criteria.
- Written Exam Weightage: A maximum of 50 marks are allocated for the written examination.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates possessing higher educational qualifications than the minimum required will get up to 25 marks.
- Local Youth Preference: Candidates who are local residents of the concerned district will receive an additional 15 marks.
- Special Women Category: 10 marks are reserved for special categories of women, giving first priority to widows, second to divorced women, and third to abandoned women.
Selection Process & Criteria Breakdown
According to departmental officials, candidates will be shortlisted from the names available on the Sevayojan Portal. For a single vacancy, the top 5 candidates in order of seniority will be called for the process. If there are two or more vacancies, three times the number of candidates for each post will be considered, with a minimum of 10 candidates.
Reservation Rules Applicable
Reservation rules will be strictly implemented in outsourcing recruitments for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, Divyang (PWD), women, dependents of freedom fighters, and ex-servicemen as per government norms. Committees have also been formed at the state, division, and district levels to monitor the service conditions of outsourcing employees.
Strict Action Against Agencies
Agencies will be selected through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) for a minimum period of three years. If any agency is found negligent or involved in irregularities, strict penalties including heavy fines and blacklisting will be enforced.
