UP PRT 2026 Required Documents: Complete List for Application Form
Uttar Pradesh Primary Teacher (UP PRT) 2026 recruitment is one of the most anticipated teaching job notifications for candidates aspiring to build a career in the education sector of Uttar Pradesh. As the application process is expected to be released soon, candidates are advised to keep all mandatory documents ready in soft copy format before initiating the form filling process to avoid last-minute hassles and potential rejection of the application.
The latest update from official sources and job portals has released a comprehensive list of documents that candidates must have ready while applying for UP PRT 2026 posts. The list includes both academic documents, identity proofs and other mandatory certificates as mentioned below:
| Document Type | Details |
|---|---|
| Academic Marksheets | 10th class marksheet, 12th class marksheet, Graduation marksheet, Post Graduation marksheet (only if the candidate has completed PG) |
| Teaching Eligibility Certificates | UPTET Certificate, D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) Certificate. Note: If the D.El.Ed certificate is not yet issued, candidates can upload the D.El.Ed marksheet as a temporary document. |
| Identity and Personal Documents | Passport size photo, Live photo, Aadhaar Card, Caste Certificate (for reserved category candidates) or EWS Certificate (for Economically Weaker Section candidates) |
| Other Mandatory Documents | Application fee payment receipt of ₹1000, Signed declaration form |
Special instructions have been issued for candidates belonging to the 2023 batch: it is advised to fill the application form only after 25th of the month, as there is a high probability that the D.El.Ed certificate will be updated in the DigiLocker portal by that time, making it easier to upload the valid certificate.
Officials have also warned candidates that even a minor error or discrepancy in the uploaded documents or form details can lead to the rejection of the application, so it is mandatory to cross-verify all details and documents before final submission. Candidates are also advised to keep both soft and hard copies of all the listed documents for future reference.
