The latest update for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Primary Teacher (PRT) 2026 recruitment has released the complete list of mandatory documents that candidates need to keep ready before filling the online application form. Uttar Pradesh Primary Teacher (PRT) is a state-level recruitment conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Department to hire teachers for primary schools across the state. The 2026 recruitment is expected to release thousands of vacancies for eligible candidates who have completed the required educational qualifications and hold a valid UPTET certificate.
As per the shared update, candidates who fail to upload the correct documents at the time of form submission may face rejection of their application, so it is advised to prepare all the required papers in advance to avoid last-minute hassle.
Below is the detailed list of all mandatory documents required for UP PRT 2026 application:
- Academic Marksheets: 10th class marksheet, 12th class marksheet, Graduation marksheet, and Post Graduation marksheet (only if the candidate has completed post-graduation)
- Teaching Eligibility Certificates: Valid UPTET (Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test) Certificate, and D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) Certificate. Candidates who do not have the original D.El.Ed certificate can upload the marksheet of the completed D.El.Ed course as a valid alternative at the time of application.
- Identity and Personal Documents: Recent passport size photograph (as per the prescribed dimensions), live photo (for biometric verification at later stages), and original Aadhaar Card for identity verification
- Caste/EWS Certificate: Caste Certificate for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories, or EWS (Economically Weaker Section) Certificate for eligible general category candidates who fall under the EWS quota
- Application Fee: ₹1000 as the mandatory application processing fee, which needs to be paid online via debit card, credit card or net banking at the time of form submission
- Declaration Form: Duly signed self-declaration form as per the format prescribed in the official notification, stating that all the details provided by the candidate are true to the best of their knowledge
An important update specifically for candidates of the 2023 batch: It is strongly advised to fill the application form only after 25th of the relevant month, as there is a high probability that the D.El.Ed certificate will be updated in the DigiLocker portal by that time, making it easier to upload the document directly without any hassle or delay.
Candidates are also warned to fill the application form with extreme caution, as even a small mistake in the form, such as incorrect personal details, wrong educational qualification details or uploading of wrong documents, can lead to rejection of the candidature at later stages of the recruitment process.
